Obituaries

Theodore Henry Hoehne formerly of Sullivan – Spring Bluff, MO, was born on August 1, 1921 and passed away on August 26, 2019 in Chesterfield, MO at the age of 98 years.

Russell R. Wasson, age 81, of Bourbon, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Cuba Manor, Cuba, MO.

Peter Louis Land, age 89 years, lost his struggle with leukemia and died peacefully on August 22, 2019 at his home in Dayton, OH with his devoted wife, Kathy, and daughters, Jennifer

SULLIVAN FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT 9/11 CEREMONY was held on Wednesday morning, September 11, at the district’s 9/11 Memorial which includes a piece of the World Trade Center atop the monument.

Crawford Electric held its 79th annual meeting on Wednesday, September 11.

A Broadway Beginnings workshop was held Aug. 9 by Sullivan High School graduate and Tony Award nominee Taylor Louderman. The workshop was held at the SHS Performing Arts Theatre.
