The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Union man on Monday after he allegedly held two people at gunpoint and threatened to take a female hostage.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a driver crashed on Interstate 44 early Wednesday morning when his lit cigarette blew back into his vehicle, causing him to over-correct.
The death of a 30-year-old man is under investigation after he was found unconscious from a possible drug overdose on Saturday at a Washington County residence.
Two people were injured in a late night accident on Highway 185 near Highway K on Saturday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at 10:55 p.m.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has recovered the bodies of two more drowning victims in the last two days.
