Lady Eagles Outlast Dutchgirls In Regular Season Finale

Sullivan outlasted Owensville to win 34-32 on Tuesday in their regular season finale.

The Lady Eagles are 7-4 in their last 11 games and they finished with a 4-3 record in the Four Rivers Conference.

Neither team on Tuesday had the shooting touch, but Abby Peterson’s 20 points pushed the Lady Eagles ahead.

Peterson notched eight of her points at the free throw line.

She also grabbed seven rebounds.

Dakayla McClain scored five points to go with four rebounds.

Olivia Witt and Hanna Johanning each scored three points.

Maggie Jones added two points and Kylee McReynolds one.

The two teams were tied 7-7 after one quarter.

Owensville nosed ahead 14-13 after two quarters. The Lady Eagles would outscore them 21-18 in the second half.
