Lady Eagles Blast Camdenton, Farmington

Following two losses to Helias and Cape Notre Dame, Sullivan rebounded on Saturday to win their final two games of the Lady Jays Classic in Jefferson City.

Sullivan pounded Camdenton 18-0, then ended the day with an 8-0 victory over Farmington.

Camdenton

Four hitters each had three hits as part of an 18-0 rout over the Lakers.

Kayla Ulrich, Hanna Johanning, Sophia Weirich and Riley Branson tallied the trio of hits.

Ulrich doubled three times, scored three times and drove in two runs.

Johanning fell a home run short of the cycle after picking up a single, double and triple. She also had three RBIs.

Weirich doubled and drove in three.

Branson had three singles and scored three times.

Madyson Stahl singled twice and scored four runs. She also had one RBI.

Alexis Johnson and Hayli Venable each singled, scored and had an RBI.

Morgan Braun singled with a pair of RBIs.

Abby Peterson scored twice.

Jaedin Blankenship had two RBIs.

Johanning went two innings, striking out two and walking two. 

Blankenship threw three scoreless frames, striking out three. She didn’t allow a baserunner.

Sullivan scored three runs in the first, five in the second, five in the third and five more in the fifth.

Farmington

The offense got rolling late, scoring two runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth as part of an 8-0 thrashing of the Knights.

Johanning collected two singles, drove in three RBIs and scored twice.

Blankenship had three hits and drove in two runs.

Johnson had a pair of singles. Ulrich doubled and scored twice. Stahl had a single with two runs scored.

Weirich singled, drove in two and scored.

Venable walked twice and scored. 

In the circle, Blankenship went six innings, striking out six, allowing seven hits and walking two.

Sullivan scored once in the first and again in the fourth.
