Farrell Selected To FRC First Team

Owen Farrell was selected to the Four Rivers all-conference first team and teammate Jordan Woodcock was a second team selection.

Farrell was thrust into the point guard position for a rebuilding Eagles squad that went 14-12 this season.

He led Sullivan with 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal per game.

During the FCNB Bank-It Tournament in December, he garnered MVP honors after averaging 16 points per game for the champion Eagles.

Woodcock averaged 10 points per game and finished with 54 3-pointers.

First Team

St. James’ Andrew Branson led the way as Player of the Year.

Branson averaged nearly 24 points per game for the Four Rivers Conference champions.

Hermann’s Trent Anderson, New Haven’s Luke Gerlemann, St. James’ Mason Parker and St. Clair’s Dayton Turner joined Farrell and Branson as unanimous selections.

St. James’ Logan Chick and New Haven’s John Liggett rounded out the first team.

Second Team

Woodcock was joined on the second team by Union’s Caleb Mabe, St. Clair’s Calvin Henry, St. James’ Austin Ridenhour, New Haven’s Jay Eichelberger, St. Clair’s Justin Hoffman and Pacific’s Quinn Blackburn.

Pacific’s Don’Ta Harris was chosen as sixth man of the year.

St. James head coach Ben Smith was named coach of the year. Smith guided the Tigers to a 22-4 record and 7-0 in the FRC.
