Eagles Wrestling Wins FRC Title

Sullivan won their first-ever Four Rivers Conference wrestling championship on Tuesday after topping Union 40-30.

Ty Shetley (145), Kobie Blankenship (160), Alexander Goly (182), Evan Shetley (195), Tristan Brown (285), John Johnson (113), Joseph Lewis (126) and Dillon Witt (132) had wins for the Eagles.

Witt and Brown were honored prior to the meet for totaling 100 wins in their high school careers.

In girls action, Sullivan defeated Union, 18-12. Destiny Martinez and Julianna Graddy had pins.

Sullivan will wrap up the season this weekend when they travel for the Odessa quad on Friday and the Marshfield Invitational on Saturday.
