Scott Alan Ogle

Scott Alan Ogle, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the age of 56. Scott was born on July 16, 1963 in Great Bend, Kansas, loving son of Dan and Judy Ogle, nee Smith.

He was a loving father of Ryan and Erik Ogle; dear brother of Krista (nee Ogle) and Joe Rezek; dear friend and former wife, Sandi Ogle; dear friends: Tonya Treat and Michele Jackson; loving nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Scott graduated from Eureka High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 9 years. On a facebook post Scott stated “I received this and thought I would pass it on to my friends.  I cannot count how many times I missed with my family, including the deaths of my grandparents, because I was serving my country. I wish that more people could understand what it really means to "serve your country" it means to put your own life on hold to help someone you have never met, it means to put your life in danger so that others are safe, it means to stand up to a threat and give your life so that someone who would not do that can condemn you for doing it.” Sgt. Scott Ogle US Air Force retired.

Returning home, he planted roots in Salem, Missouri, where he raised his twin sons, Ryan and Erik, who he loved and adored so very much. He enjoyed working for Walmart for many years, constructed merchandise displays. Scott was an avid Star Wars fan and animal lover. He had a great quirky and hilarious sense of humor. A man with a loving heart who helped out many people and four legged friends. He loved reading, puzzles, games and most of all spending time with family. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all that knew and loved him.

Funeral Service were held at the Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin, MO on Sunday, September 29, 2019.
