The Sullivan City Council met on Tuesday, June 21, with one request before them, payment of the monthly bills totaling $1,680,027.15 and the passage of three new ordinances.
Myah Massie was named the 2022 Meramec Community Fair queen.
Khloe Harbour was named first runner-up.
Riley Branson was second runner-up.
Morgan Clonts was third runner-up.
As the Sullivan Independent News went to press late Monday, June 27, one of seven victims seriously burned in a house fire Sunday morning, June 26, at 9:45 a.m.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Cuba man had fatal injuries Monday in a crash on Interstate 44 at the 207 mile marker.
The accident occurred at 1:19 a.m.
A mobile app that connects local school districts to Crawford County 911 and first responders is under review by the Bourbon School Board.
