Sheriff’s Department, SWAT Team Arrest Six During Two Separate Investigations

On June 9th, 2021 Members of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, The Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, Narcotics detectives along with the Union Police executed two search warrants related to narcotics investigations.

The first search warrant was executed in Riverview Trailer Court.  The location and individuals have been under investigation for possession and distribution of crystal methamphetamine.  Two adults a male age 27 and female age 26 were located in the residence.  During a search of the residence Detectives seized several ounces of suspected crystal methamphetamine and guns.   The male identified as Brian R. Bell was arrested on charges issued in Franklin County Circuit Court for second degree drug trafficking and unlawful use of a weapon his bond was set at 75,000.00 cash only. 

Between October 2020 and June 2021 6 cases have been conducted on Brian Bell by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Union Police Department, Washington Police Department and Sullivan Police Department. 

In total 12 ounces of crystal methamphetamine have been seized.  Additional charges will be sought against Brian Bell.  The Sheriff's Office wishes to thank all those other agencies and the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office for their cooperation in this successful  investigation. 

 The second search warrant was executed by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team along with detectives in the 3000 block of Hwy UU Union, Missouri. 

The search warrant was for the arrest of Johnny Lee Ivory Jr who had been charged with a no bond Unlawful Use of Weapon.  

In June of 2020 a search warrant was executed in Le Chateau Trailer Court in Union Mo.  Johnny Ivory was suspected of dealing heroin/fentanyl at this time.  He was arrested for possession of heroin/fentanyl, methamphetamine and possessing four firearms. Mr. Ivory has previous felony conviction preventing him from legally possessing a firearm.  

This case was presented to the United States Attorney's Office in St Louis Mo and charges were issued in May 2021 for Mr. Ivory's arrest. 

Investigators have been looking for Ivory since then and finally located him at the residence on Hwy UU.

Also arrested during the search warrant were James Brown age 40 failure to appear on warrant for Probation violation, John E. Poor Jr age 45 failure to appear on warrant for traffic violations and possession of narcotics, Amber N. Fieser age 31 failure to appear on warrants for drug charges and Natasha R. Johnson age 35 failure to appear warrant for traffic charge. 

Four other individuals were located in the residence who were not arrested. During the execution of the search warrant a 57 year old male began to overdose at the scene from using heroin/fentanyl.  Detectives administered 4 doses of Narcan prior to Union ambulance arriving on scene and transporting the victim to Mercy hospital.

Seized from the residence were several grams of heroin and methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia.  From 2020 till June 2021 there were 7 calls to the residence related to narcotics, two of which were search warrants and another for 1st degree assault involving a stabbing. Additional charges will be applied with the Franklin County Prosecutors Office.
