Police Issue Warning On Catalytic Converter Thefts

Sullivan Police Lt. Patrick Johnson said the department has noticed an increase in catalytic converters being stolen from vehicles.

Two were stolen from church parking lots last week.

Catalytic converter scrap prices have reportedly increased, making them ideal for thieves.

Authorities are asking people to remove valuables from their vehicles and always make sure the doors are locked.
