Peaceful Protest Of Franklin County Holds Demonstration In Sullivan

A group known as Peaceful Protests of Franklin County held a demonstration for equality on Sunday, June 29, with over 50 people in attendance supporting the group and an estimated 10-15 people attending in opposition to the group.

The event was held at “Sunny” Jim Bottomley Park from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with an initial welcoming and speech from Alexandria Gray followed by several other people in attendance who felt they wanted to speak.

The group also asked those in attendance for opposition who wanted to speak to come forward as well.
