Hazelwood Man Arrested In Sullivan Storage Burglary
A Hazelwood man has been arrested in connection with a burglary that occurred in January at a storage facility in Sullivan.
Cody Hunt, 29, faces possible charges for burglary and property damage.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said the burglary was reported January 21. The suspect is alleged to have broken into one unit and cut holes in the interior walls to gain access into other units.
An ATV and power tools were reportedly stolen.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Hunt on February 3 and contacted Franklin County, knowing he was a suspect.
Hunt was transported to the Franklin County Adult Detention Center.
