Gambling Machines Seized At Local Business Tuesday
Very little information is known regarding a Missouri State Highway Patrol and Franklin County investigation into the seizure of what may or may have not been illegal gambling devices at Phillips 66/Midwest Petroleum on Tuesday, Oct. 13 in Sullivan.
Members of the highway patrol and other officials arrived at the business early Tuesday morning, reportedly from sources standing guard at the machines and rear of the business by a beer cooler when they first arrived. Multiple agents were inside the facility.
There was no alcohol seized, nor was it reported to have been, in a video on this incident that appeared on the Sullivan Independent News Facebook page.
