Senior Parade This Sunday

Bourbon High School was scheduled to hold its graduation ceremony on Sunday, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it has been pushed back to this summer.

Instead, the district will hold a senior parade Sunday at 4 p.m. through Bourbon.

The parade route will begin at the elementary school; 

Go right on Jost Street;

Left on Old Springfield;

Left on Liberty;

Right on Marlette;

Right on Emerald Vista Drive;

Right on South Johnson; 

Left on Park to Boardwalk;

Right on Old Springfield;

Right on Jost;

Left on Starhawk Drive;

Right on Old Springfield;

Right on Pine; 

Left on Old Highway 66; 

Right on East Pine;

Left back to Old Highway 66 and;

End at the high school.

Parking areas will be set up at the city park, Calvary Baptist Church, Dillon’s, St. Francis Catholic Church, Town and Country plaza, Dollar Genera and the downtown area.

Seniors will line up in their cars at the elementary school.

The district is urging people to practice social distancing.

Bourbon has three tentative dates for its graduation ceremony: Saturday, June 27, Sunday, July 18 and Sunday, August 1.
