What A Good Neighbor Does

Dear Editor:

Sunday morning,my neighbor Greg Lahmann stop by asking for a trash bag.   He had forgotten to take his trash off the top of his car. It had blown off his car and on my road right of way.  The trash bag had broken and trash was strewn along the road side.  I gladly gave him a trash bag and thanked him for picking up his trash.  Over the years, I have picked up many bags of trash that weren't mine.  That was the first time in all the years I have lived here (68) that anyone had picked up the trash that had blown out of their vehicle.

I have had a neighbor Lilly (Logan) Haanpaa pick up trash.  I know you have seen this young woman picking up trash many times over the years. Here is a great big shout out THANK YOU to both of these neighbors. I just wanted you both to know how much I appreciate your thoughtfulness.
