County Reports 22 New Cases, 8.2% Positivity Rate

Crawford County reported 22 new COVID-19 cases for the week ending April 14.

It was the most cases per capita of any Missouri county.

The seven-day positivity rate was 8.2% — eighth highest in the state.

In total volume, the county ranked 28th in cases, an 18.5% decline from the previous week.

Crawford Count has confirmed 2,228 cases and 302 probable cases based on antigen tests.

Vaccine

The county has seen the percentage of the population initiating the vaccine rise.

As of April 16, 18.6% of residents have received at least one dosage of the vaccine.

Data from the state showed that 7,384 doses have been administered.

There have been 3,220 residents that have completed the vaccine regimen — 13.5%.

Over the last seven days, 689 doses were administered.

Missouri has vaccinated 34% of its population as of April 16.

More than 3.3 million doses have been given out.

An average of 48,076 per day were administered for the week of April 8-14.

The state reports that 22.9% have completed the vaccination regimen.

Missouri confirmed 2,546 cases for the week ending April 14 — an average of 364 per day.

The seven-day positivity rate was 5%.

Missouri has confirmed 496,157 cases to date.

There have been 8,635 confirmed deaths.

Hospitalizations

As of April 14, hospitalizations had dropped from 807 to 796.

ICU patients increased from 119 to 130.

The St. Louis region saw hospitalizations drop from 474 to 454, but ICU admissions increased from 68 to 80.
