Crawford County Records 10 New COVID-19 Cases

Crawford County reported 10 COVID-19 cases for the week ending April 22.

The county had one of the highest per capita case rates and positivity rates in the state over the previous weeks, but saw both fall.

There were 254 tests done over the seven-day period.

No cases were reported on April 17, April 19 and April 22.

Crawford County has confirmed 2,241 total cases with 36 deaths.

The seven-day positivity rate is 3.9%.

Vaccine

The county’s rate of residents initiating the vaccine rose to 19.7%.

Missouri’s state average is 30.2%.

More than 16% of county residents have completed the vaccination regimen and 331 doses were administered over the last seven days.

Missouri has administered more than 3.1 million first and second doses.

More than 1.8 million have initiated the vaccination and 1.3 million have completed it.

The state says 21.9% have completed the regimen.

Cases

Missouri reported 2,082 cases for the week ending April 22, a daily average of fewer than 300.

There were 1,387 probable cases based off antigen tests.

Two deaths were reported.

Missouri has reported 499,554 cases, 82,089 antigen cases and 8,695 deaths.

Hospitalizations

There were 788 people hospitalized as of April 21.

Of those, 135 were in the ICU.

In the St. Louis region, 474 people are hospitalized and 79 patients are in ICU.
