Bourbon’s city council could put its dump truck up for sale, but it’s the only vehicle that effectively spreads salt, creating an issue for board members.
Dave Lafferty was sworn in as mayor and John Nelson was sworn in as Ward 1 Alderman on Tuesday at Bourbon City Hall.
The Bourbon City Council on September 24 voted to raise the starting pay for police officers to $14.50 per hour.
The rate was raised from $12.50 per hour.
