Sales Tax Up Nearly 10% In September
Crawford County’s general revenue sales tax was up nearly 10% in September.
The county collected $233,981.06, up from $212,939.09 last year.

Crawford County added 56 new COVID-19 cases over the last week as its total rose from 425 to 481.
The total by volume still ranks 56th in the state.
Crawford County is going forward with a plan to close the assessor and collector offices during tax season.
The COVID-19 pandemic has dampened events across the area, from fairs to parades to festivals.
However, the Bourbon Boosters are looking to continue the Halloween Family Fun Night.
Bourbon Superintendent Dr. Kyle Gibbs provided updates to the school’s bond projects during the September meeting.
