Stephens Honored For Service At Battle of the Bulge

Reid Stephens was honored November 11 during a Veterans Day ceremony at Bourbon High School for his contributions during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. Stephens received a pin from Marc Vanacht, an honorary consul from the Consulate of Belgium. Next month will mark the 75th anniversary of the battle, which lasted more than a month. It was Germany’s final major offensive and its defeat helped lead the Allies to an eventual victory.
