First-Ever Bourbon Invitational Tips Off January 6

The first-ever Bourbon Invitational tips off Monday, January 6 at Bourbon High School, with both boys and girls varsity basketball teams competing.

The boys tournament will feature eight teams and the first round is set with all four games being played Monday.

Bourbon is the No. 1 seed and will face eighth-seeded Laquey at 4 p.m.

Third-seeded Liberty faces sixth-seeded Crocker at 5:30 p.m.

Richland received the No. 2 seed and takes on No. 7 seed Viburnum at 7 p.m.

The night ends with fourth-seeded Valley meeting fifth-seeded Cuba at 8:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, January 7, the girls tournament begins.

Third-seeded Houston will meet fourth-seeded Liberty at 4:30 p.m.

Crocker is the top seed and takes on sixth-seeded Viburnum at 6 p.m.

Bourbon is the fifth seed and caps off the night against No. 2 seed Grandview at 7:30 p.m.
