Willman, Denney, Kirk Extend Their Seasons

The Sullivan Eagles had a spectacular showing at districts on Saturday.

Inman Intermediate School in Nixa hosted Sullivan and the other schools for the districts meet.

Emily Willman was Sullivan's top performer and she finished third. Aiden Kirk finished 21st and was followed by Abram Denney in 22nd.

Willman accomplished another personal best and finished in third place with a time of 19:29.84. Breanna Mayberry finished with a personal best time of 22:51.84 in 58th.

Maria Schatzl ran her career best time with 25:09.61 in 87th. Jade Studdard got 91st with a time of 25:29.00. Melody Brauninger ran her best race after an injury with a time of 26:25.38 and finished in 97th.

Abigail Street of Webb City won the championship with a time of 18:53.91.

Sullivan finished in 14th as a team with 308 points. West Plains won the team championship with 49 points. Rolla followed with 91. Bolivar tied with Webb City with 101. Jefferson City followed with 181 and Carl Junction rounded out the top five with 202.

Boys

Sullivan finished in 15th place as a team with 337 points.

Kirk was the top performer in 21st with a time of 17:28.14. He was immediately followed by Denney with a time of 17:28.33. Ian Studdard got 87th with a time of 20:10.Nolan Studdard followed in 100th with a time of 20:40.74. Parker Whaley rounded out Sullivan in 115th with a time of 23:04.65.

Evan Stevens won the championship with a time of 15:57.20.

West Plains won the team championship with 61 points. Willard followed with 77. Webb City got third with 122. Rolla followed with 129. Bolivar rounded out the top five with 135 points.
