Willman And Kirk Earn All Conference Honors

Emily Willman and Aiden Kirk earned all conference honors for cross country on Tuesday. The Sullivan Eagles varsity and junior varsity teams competed at the Four Rivers Conference Championships at Big Driver in Washington. Willman took home another second place medal. She medaled in second earlier this season in Washington. She perfected her time from earlier by twenty seconds. Willman earned a spot on the first all conference team. Kirk got an eighth place medal. He earned a spot in the second all conference team.

Willman’s final time on Tuesday was 20:20.43. Breanna Mayberry finished in 29th with a time of 25:00.84.

In the girl’s junior varsity, Maria Schatzl got 8th with a time of 27:20.92. Jade Studdard claimed 10th with a time of 27:41.97. Melody Brauninger took 17th with a time of 29:34.29. Isabel Peterson had a time of 33:15.88. Olivia Huitt finished in 21st with a time of 34.21.48.

Katy Menke of Hermann won the championship with a time of 20:02.55.

Herman also won the team championship with 39 points. Union followed with 61. Owensville got third with 69. Pacific followed with 84 points. St. Clair rounded out the top five with 87 points.

Boys

The Sullivan boys team rounded out the top five with 96 points.

Kirk was Sullivan’s top performer in eighth place with a time of 18:36.88. He was followed by Abram Denney in 12th place with a time of 19:00.52. Zechariah Beagle took 25th with a time of 20:17.28. Ian Studdard claimed 36th with a time of 21:53.97. Nolan Studdard followed in 38th with a time of 22:12.11.

In the boy’s junior varsity, Charles Saul finished in 20th with a time of 23:46.97. Parker Whaley had a time of 24:19.37 and 24th place. Javier Contreras took 26th with a time of 24:44.13.

Bryson Pickard of Union won the championship with a time of 17:12.17.

Owensville won the team championship with 50 points. St. Clair followed with 56 points. Pacific claimed third with 64 points. Union followed with 81.
