Union Piles On Runs Against Eagles
The Union Wildcats came alive against Sullivan on Monday.
The Wildcats took advantage of the four errors made by Sullivan’s defense.
The unbeaten Wildcats cruised 14-0 past Sullivan, their Union’s fourth game of the season scoring in double digits.
Drake Gawer was the losing pitcher, giving up nine runs. He pitched three innings and struck out only two batters. Gavin Schmidt pitched 1.1 innings and only gave up a walk. Andrew Starr recorded two outs and gave up five runs.
Sullivan only had two hits on the game, one each by Schmidt and Parsons.
Parsons also took a walk along with Cambrian Koch and Tyler Hopen.
Sullivan was struck out eight times by Union.
