Three Lady Eagles Medal At St. Clair

The Sullivan Lady Eagles had three wrestlers medal at St. Clair on Friday afternoon. It was a long battle but the ladies succeeded in their mission.

Karen Dietzler brought home the gold.

Dorie Richardson placed second.

Reya Bristow finished in third place.

At 110, Dietzler pinned Tynn Melnick of Kirksville at 2:19 in round two. In round three, Dietzler pinned Jada Curtin of West Plains at 0:55.

Jade Studdard pinned Paytan Rulo of DeSota at 1:10 in the 125 class.

In round one, Studdard was pinned by Elizabeth Riggs of Wright City at 1:28. In round two, Studdard was pinned by Audrey Declue of St. Clair at 1:54.

In round three, Studdard pinned Akshaya Mulakala of Parkway West at 3:55.

For the fifth place match, the same two ladies wrestled and Studdard was victorious with a pin at 5:52.

At 130, Cassandra Pritchett was pinned by Anmarie Dillon of Eldon at 0:28 for round one.

In round two, Pritchett was pinned by Lillien Ingram of West Plains at 2:19. Pritchett was pinned by Eddyson Reeves of Herculaneum in round three at 1:00. Pritchett was pinned by Riley Ostendorf in round four at 1:28.

In round five, she was pinned by Lily Whittenburg of Parkway West at 3:22.

Dorie Richardson finished in second place at 135. She first won by a 2-0 decision over Riley Coleman of DeSoto. In round one, she pinned Jossie Hopkins of St. Clair at 2:24. Richardson pinned Kailin Hawn of Wright City at 1:02 in round two.

Round three was over by a 6-2 decision and Richardson beat Lianna Ward of West Plains. Richardson was pinned by Paige Wehrmeister of Parkway West at 1:47 in the first place match.

Julianna Graddy placed fourth in the 141 class. In round one, she pinned McKenzy Echols of Owensville at 4:47. For round two, she pinned Peyton Dunn of St. Clair at 5:42. The round three match was over by 8-4 decision with Graddy over Sata Sehnert of Wright City. Graddy was pinned by Jade Martin at 4:40 in round five. Graddy was pinned in the third place match by Elizabeth Brooksher of St. Charles at 3:20.

The 149 weight class was represented by Maria Schatzl and Katie Summers. In round two, Schatzl was pinned by Hannah Eberhardt of DeSoto at 3:17. In round three, Schatzl was pinned by Kaitlyn Janson of St. Clair at 1:55. Schatzl received a bye in round four. In round five, Schatzl pinned Summers at 1:08. Schatzl was pinned in the fifth place match by Josie Gerlemann of Owensville at 1:30. Summers was pinned by Janson of St. Clair in round one at 0:31. Summers received her bye in round three. In round four, Eberhardt of DeSoto pinned Summers at 1:31. The round five battle was the match between Schatzl and Summers. Summers was pinned in 0:54 by Lauren Ritter of Wright City for the seventh place match.

Hiley Pritchett, Ruby Daily, and Kloie Parks all competed in the 159 weight class. In round one, Pritchett was pinned by Maegan Hayes of St. Charles at 0:30.

In round two, Pritchett was pinned by Daily at 0:42. Pritchett was pinned in round three by Melody Hicks of Kirksville at 3:37. Zoey Foster of West Plains pinned Pritchett in round four at 0:32.

She received a bye in the ninth place match. Daily won by a 4-0 decision over Hicks in round one. The round two battle was between Pritchett and Daily. Daily was pinned by Foster in round three at 1:15. Hayes pinned Daily at 0:46 in round five. In the fifth place match, Daily was pinned by Ivy Scroggins of California at 5:53.

Parks was pinned by Ella Bradley of DeSoto in round two at 0:46. Parks was pinned by Bailee Dare of Owensville at 0:26 in round three.

She received a bye in round four. Scroggins pinned Parks at 1:37 in round five. Parks pinned Hicks for the seventh place match in 3:49.

Reya Bristow and Mackenzie Logsdon represented 235 and Bristow placed third. In round one, Bristow was pinned by Destynee Small of Kirksville at 0:21. Bristow pinned Ella Greenwell of Wright City in round two at 0:38. Bristow pinned Logsdon in round three at 0:29. In round four, Bristow pinned Miranda Smith of West Plains at 2:55. She pinned Heather Simon of St. Charles at 0:59 in round five. Logsdon pinned Greenwell in round one at 3:04. Simon pinned Logsdon in round two at 0:41. The round three battle was between Logsdon and Bristow. The round four match ended with Small with a pin over Logsdon at 0:12. Logsdon was pinned by Smith in round five at 2:42.
