Sullivan Falls 3-0 To Union In Championship Rematch

Sullivan (6-3) struggled to overcome the Wildcats in a 3-0 loss on Thursday, Apr. 4. The Eagles aimed to pull an upset against the 9-1 squad after falling to them in the Four Rivers Conference championship a couple of weeks prior.

Eagles pitcher Drake Gawer stayed atop the hill until the bottom of the 5th. He struck out eight while giving up four walks, three earned runs and a hit.

When Cambrian Koch came from the bullpen to finish the game, he only surrendered a hit.

The Eagles’ batting lineup racked up nine hits and a walk, with 28 appearances at bat.

Landen Doza and Nolan Ulrich led Sullivan with two hits.
