Sullivan’s Tri-Meet In Owensville

The Sullivan Eagles wrestling teams traveled to Owensville on Thursday. This was their first meet after senior night at home the night before. The girls and the boys wrestling teams faced Potosi and Owensville on Thursday night. The girls team fell to Owensville and defeated Potosi. The boys were victorious against both teams.

Girls

(Owensville)

The first two classes were a double forfeit, and Jenna Vandegriffe of Owensville was unopposed for 110.

The 115 class was a double forfeit.

Karen Dierzler was pinned by Owensville’s Elizabeth Adams at 3:30 for 120.

Owensville’s Carly Brown was unopposed for 125.

For 130 and 135, Sullivan’s Jade Studdard and Sadie Alrimus were unopposed and 140 was a double forfeit.

Katie Summers was pinned by McKenzy Echols at 1:52 for 145.

For 155, Maria Schatzl was pinned by Josie Gerlemann at 3:01.

For 170 and 190, Owensville’s Bailee Dare and Kelby Schoenfield were both unopposed.

For 235, Reya Bristow was unopposed.

There was one extra match wherein Sullivan’s Hannah Sumner pinned Anna Carlin at 1:09 for 155.

Sullivan was defeated by Owensville, 42-18.

Potosi

The 100 class was a double forfeit, and Potosi’s Alexis and Allison Missey were both unopposed for the 105 and 110 classes. The 115 and 120 classes were both double forfeits.

For 125, Dietzler was pinned by Harley Vance at 1:25.

Studdard and Altimus were both unopposed for 130 and 135.

140 was a double forfeit and for 145 Schatzl was unopposed.

For 155, Sumner pinned McKenley Dicus in an outstanding twelve seconds.

The 170 and 190 classes were double forfeits and Bristow was unopposed for 235.

Sullivan defeated Potosi, 30-18.

Boys

(Owensville)

For 106 and 113, Camden Henderson and Carter Blankenship were both unopposed.

Oliver Borton pinned Owensville’s Dalton Nochta at 1:01 for 120.

Sam Hecht was unopposed for 126.

For 132, Eli Peregoy pinned Umberto Bertesi at 1:25.

Dominic Ransom was unopposed for 138.

For 144, Draysen Nolie pinned Nathan Cobb at a stellar thirty seconds.

For 150, Adam Peregoy won by a 9-3 decision over Gabriel Soest.

Colton Brendel pinned Timothy Winterbauer at 2:13 for 157.

For 165, Aiden Cain pinned Garrett Hunter at 3:36.

Parker Montee was pinned by Kaleb Wells for 175 at 2:34.

Malachi Barton pinned Brendan Kramme at 1:46 for 190.

For 215, Jacob Patton pinned Aydan Silvers at 1:17.

Jeremiah Rodriguez was pinned by Hayden Shoemaker at 4:24 for 285.

There were three extra matches.

The first match was at 165 and Aidan Hutchison pinned Braydan McDaniel at forty seconds.

The next two matches were both for the 285 class. Ethan Cook pinned Zach Barch at 1:27. Nolan Center pinned Kadyn Grannemann at 1:32.

Sullivan defeated Owensville, 69-12.

Potosi

Henderson was unopposed for 106.

For 113, Blankenship pinned Levi Dicus at thirty nine seconds.

For 120 and 126, Borton and Hecht were unopposed.

Eli Peregoy pinned Braxton Boy for 132 at 2:32.

At 2:39, Ransom pinned Garrett Hale for 138.

For 144, Nolie pinned Landon Sprous at two minutes.

Adam Peregoy was unopposed for 150.

For 157, Brendel pinned Devin Sandefur at 1:23.

Cain, Montee, and Barton were all unopposed for 165, 175, and 190.

For 215, Patton lost to a technical fall of 17-2 at 5:30 to Aden Martinez.

Rodriguez was unopposed for 285.

There was one extra match for 144 and Austin Ray won by a technical fall of 18-1 at 3:22 over Zarek Knox.

Sullivan was victorious over Potosi, 78-5.
