Richardson’s Homer Soars Lady Eagles Over Pacific

The Lady Eagles soared over Pacific by a score of 11-1 on Thursday, Sept. 12. Sullivan swooped up their first conference victory of the season while on the road. Their tenth consecutive win against the Indians ended by mercy rule after five innings.

Ava Declue threw a gem, pitching a complete game and striking out ten batters. The senior gave up just two hits and a walk. 

Declue scored Sullivan’s first run while logging a hit and a walk.

Dorie Richardson hit her second home run of the year for the game’s highlight. She also racked up 2 RBIs and two hits.

Rae Corwin recorded two runs, two walks, an RBI and a hit.

Kynlee Peterson secured two runs, a hit and a walk.

Evvie Blankenship punched it home twice and walked once.

Madison Ortner clutched 2 RBIs and a hit.

Molly Lohden drove in an RBI and also took a walk.

Evelyn Harris had a run and a walk.

Elli Crump scored twice as a courtesy runner.

Carli McCreary and Ella Blanton both earned walks.

Kennedi Roach brought in an RBI.
