Pinemark 12U Survives The Bourbon Warhawks 9-7

Pinemark fended off the Bourbon Warhawks to win 9-7 on Thursday, June 27. 

The two 12U teams battled again the following Monday for the season finale. Stats were unavailable at press time.

Pinemark

The winning team marked nine runs, eight RBIs, six hits and six walks on 19 at-bats.

Easton H. cooked up three hits and two RBIs while crossing the dish twice.

Eli M. landed two hits, a run and an RBI.

Nolan W. logged a team-high three walks and rolled home twice.

Kody B. balled out with two runs, a hit and a walk.

Austin D. brought in a run and a hit.

Ryland S. picked up an RBI, a hit and a walk. 

Kenton G. recorded an RBI and a walk.

Parker Y. tallied one score, and Malachi W. drove in an RBI.

Parker Y. was Pinemark’s starting pitcher, throwing a heater with seven strikeouts.

Ryland S. rotated him out during the bottom of the 3rd, striking out one batter.

Bourbon

The Warhawks fought for seven runs, five walks, four hits and 3 RBIs with 15 batting appearances.

Corrin F. was a top combatant, notching a team-high two runs with a hit and a walk.

Braden K. led Bourbon with two hits and brewed up an RBI.

Connor R., Blake L., Carter R. and Kolten D. recorded a run and a walk.

Bryce H. clawed out a run and an RBI.

Connor L. snatched an RBI and a hit.

Blake L. started on the mound for the Warhawks and struck out four batters.
