Lady Eagles Victorious Against North County

Despite harsh conditions in the first half, Sullivan pushed through obstacles and were able to overpower the North County Lady Raiders for a 6-1 victory.

Sullivan got early momentum and capitalized right away.

Abby Wiegers was the first who found a mistake in the North County defense and had a big push down the field but came up short as the Lady Raiders goalie saved the ball from the back of the net. 

After just three minutes went by, Emily Willman sent a ball to the back of the net and Sullivan was on the board.

Emma Brune picked up the assist on the goal.

Two minutes later, Willman sailed another one to the back of the net and the Lady Eagles went up 2-0. 

Brune assisted again with the goal.

Wiegers rallied and netted another ball for Sullivan with a little under 11 minutes left in the first half, with Cambria Pohlman assisting.

During the second half, North County scored their one and only goal. The Lady Raiders picked up the goal on a free kick with a little over 21 minutes left in the game.

The goals continued as Wiegers landed another goal just ten minutes later. Willman assisted the score. 

Willman continued her big game as she got another ball past the North County goalie.

Pohlman secured another assist with the goal.

Within the same minute of play, the Lady Raiders did not have enough time to recover as Willman sailed another to the back of the net. Pohlman added another assist and Sullivan was victorious. 

Maria Schatzl played all 80 minutes of the game in goal and only allowed one score.
