Lady Eagles Roll Through Week

Maci Nolie is looking to break the high school record in assists.

“It is likely that we will see several records being broken in the near future since we have switched to the best of five for varsity matches,” said Head Coach Sarah Rochleau about the new season. Nolie made 21 assists during the Waynesville game on Tuesday alone.

Waynesville

Sullivan swept Waynesville in all three sets at home on Tuesday. The Lady Tigers fell, 25-9 and 25-14, the last two matches.

Nolie not only added her assists, but notched eight aces, one kill and 18 points.

Emma Brune led the team in kills with 13 while finishing with one assist. Olivia Witt followed in kills with five, one ace, and two points. Stevi Saling and Ava Blankenship made four kills. Emily Clonts chipped in three kills, three aces, and 14 points. Erica Juergens secured one kill. Regan Johnson tallied eight assists, one ace, and four points. Carley Godfrey got five points.

Warrenton

The Lady Eagles had hard fought matches against the Lady Warriors and came in clutch on Thursday night at Warrenton. Sullivan added another victory  before the North County Tournament. The Lady Eagles won three out of the four sets, 25-21, 25-21, and 25-22. The Lady Warriors won the third set, 25-23.

Nolie added 41 more assists to her immaculate season. She also secured three kills, two aces, and 11 points. Johnson followed in assists with seven, one ace, and seven points. Brune led in kills with 19 and one assist. Witt followed in kills with 16. She also led in aces with three, three assists, and eleven points. Clonts made seven kills, one ace, and eight points. Blankenship recorded five kills. Salling secured four kills. Anna Brooks tallied one kill, two aces, and five points. Ali Blue made a kill. Johnson landed seven assists, one ace, and seven points. Godfrey finished with one point and an ace.
