Lady Eagles Fend Off Tigers

Sullivan’s volleyball team (2-0) delivered a clean sweep over Salem (1-1) on Thursday, Sept. 5. They shut out the Lady Tigers in all three sets: 25-8, 25-8 and 25-20.

Ava Blankenship was Sullivan’s top varsity scorer on Thursday night. She led the Lady Eagles with 27 attacks, 19 points, 15 kills and four blocks.

Karlee Head had a team-high 20 assists. She also contributed ten attacks, 7 points, five kills, an ace and a block.

Abby Record served up five aces to lead Sullivan with. She also recorded 12 attacks, 10 points, three kills and two blocks.

Stevi Saling stacked up 22 attacks, 8 points, seven kills, a block and an assist.

Sydney Montee mounted 15 attacks, 6 points, three kills, two blocks and an ace.

Ava Todd tallied seven assists and three aces.

Trinity Midyett made an ace, an attack and an assist.

Chloe Carson spiked two kills and assisted two scores.

Andi Giebler executed an ace.
