Lady Eagles Cruise Past St. Clair Again

Facing St. Clair for a second straight night, the Lady Eagles overpowered their opponents 62-31 on Wednesday.
The Lady Eagles won for the third straight game.
Wednesday’s contest was a Four Rivers Conference game.
Sullivan led 12-8 after one quarter, but cruised from there. They outscored the Lady Bulldogs 19-7 in the second quarter and erupted for a 31-15 lead at the half.
When Sullivan came back from the break, the baskets continued. The defense of Sullivan stopped the Lady Bulldogs from breaking double digits of points for one quarter yet again. The Lady Eagles netted another 17 points and St. Clair only recorded nine more for their score. Sullivan led 48-24.
The final quarter of regular play was no exception. Not once did St. Clair come any closer to the victory. Sullivan doubled the points in the third and kept up the nets. Sullivan secured the win when they added another 14 points. St. Clair only tallied seven more points.
Abby Peterson led the team in points with 23. Kylee McReynolds followed with 14 points. Hayli Venable, Dakayla McClain, and Molly Lohden each had five points. Reagan Johnson landed four points. DaPhane Polanowski and Delaney George finished with three points.
Peterson led the team in rebounds with nine. She also finished with an assist and a steal. McClain made four rebounds. McReynolds secured four rebounds, three assists, and six steals. Polanowski landed four rebounds and four assists. Lohden tallied three rebounds, one assist, and two steals. George made two rebounds, four assists, and one steal. Alex Bylo secured one rebound and a steal. Johnson made one rebound, two assists, and one steal. Venable finished with one rebound, two assists, and one steal.
