Lady Eagles Capitalize Against Fatima

The resilience and perseverance of the Lady Eagles soccer team shined through on Thursday at home.

Sullivan's top players were in peak performance and capitalized on their biggest strengths in a 4-1 win over Fatima.

The Lady Eagles got the scoring started with a little over 20 minutes left in the first half.

Hayli Venable was the first player to send the ball into the back of the net. She was assisted by Jada Adams.

Sullivan used the early momentum to their advantage and secured another goal in the first half. Cambria Pohlman scored and was assisted by Emily Willman.

Sullivan went into halftime leading 2-0.

Fatima tried to fight back when Zoe Rehagen scored on a penalty kick with a little over thirty minutes left in the game.

The Lady Eagles continued the scoring when Addison Wagner scored.

Abby Wiegers picked up the assist.

Emma Brune netted another ball to secure the win with just over five and a half minutes left to play.

Karen Dietzler and Maria Schatzl each were the goal keepers for Sullivan. Dietzler was the winning goalkeeper who played the first half of the game. Schatzl gave up the only goal by Fatima.
