Five Named To All-District, All-Conference Teams

Seniors Emma Brune, Maci Nolie, and Olivia Witt earned all-conference and all-district volleyball honors for the 2022 season.

Freshman Ava Blankenship and senior Anna Brooks also received spots on the all-district second team.

Brune and Nolie earned spots on the Four Rivers All-Conference first team.

Witt secured a spot as a honorable mention.

Brune led Sullivan in kills this year and Nolie had a staggering amount of assists in every game. Witt was the next top player with kills for the Lady Eagles.

Holly Heldt of Hermann was named conference player of the year. She also was on the first team with fellow Hermann teammate, Breckyn Koeller. Union’s Sophia Helling, St. Clair’s Vada Moore, New Haven’s Aubri Meyer, and Pacific’s Annie Tomlinson finished out the All-Conference first team.

Rylee Hancock of St. James, St. Clair’s Ava Brand, Hermann’s Shelby Schutt and Paige Schulte, and Union's Marcie Keence and Izzy Zagarri were all honorable mentions with Witt.

Hermann won the Four Rivers Conference Championship with a 7-0 conference record. Pacific, Union and Sullivan tied in second with a 5-2 record. St. Clair took third with a 3-4 record. New Haven got fourth with a 2-5 record. Owensville followed with a 1-6 record and St. James finished with a 0-7 record.

Brune, Nolie, and Witt were also named to the all district first team. Salem's Avery Erway, Malerie Workman, and Kylee Shalbot also earned spots on the first team. St. Clair's Vada Moore finished out the all district first team.

Blankenship and Brooks earned spots on the all district second team. They were joined by St. Clair's Clair Merseal, Ava Brand, and Kennedy Travis. Salem's Emily Strange and Owensville's Josie Gerlemann finished out the second all district team.
