Eagles Wrestling Has Full Day Of Duals

The Sullivan Eagles wrestling team was a powerhouse this weekend. The boys had many victories in their matches. The Eagles traveled to Cameron for the 2023 Cameron Crossroad Duals. The boys went 4-1 on Saturday with wins over Savannah, Chillicothe, Marcelline and Mexico. Their only loss was against the hosts, Cameron.

Savannah

The boys defeated Savannah, 47-30.

Camden Henderson and Carter Blankenship were unopposed for 106 and 113.

Oliver Borton was pinned by Creighton Cook at 1:40 for 120.

For 126, Sam Hect was pinned by Gage Schottel at 2:54.

Eli Pergoy won by a 9-0 major decision over Bryson Jeffers for 132.

Dominic Ransom won by a 8-0 major decision over Deagan Pasley for 138.

Draysen Nolie was pinned by Lincoln LaFave at 2:31 for 144.

For 150, Adam Peregoy pinned Nic Scheib at 5:05.

Colton Brendel won by a 6-3 decision over Braylon Ellis for 157.

Robert York was pinned by Chance Phillips at 1:09 for 165.

For 175, Kayden Bryan pinned Robert Ragland at 2:37.

For 190, Kane Strehl was pinned by Cooper Burnsides at 1:33.

Jacob Patton pinned Trystan at 2:43 for 215.
