Eagles Set To Host District Tourney

Sullivan’s wrestling team is preparing to host the Class 2 District 1 tournament this weekend.
The Eagles will host 14 other schools over the course of a the two-day tournament.
The tournament will start on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The schools participating are Affton, Cental (Park Hills), Dexter, Herculaneum, Kennett, MICDS, Owensville, Normandy Collaborative, Potosi, St. Clair, St. James, St. Mary's, Ste. Genevieve, and University City.
The Eagles hosted the tournament for the first time last season and won the district championship.
It was the second straight title for the Eagles. Both years featured Sullivan as runaway champions.
