Eagles Golf Competes At Conference And Districts
Several of Sullivan’s golfers took their final swings of the season last week.
They first teed off in the Four Rivers Conference Championship on May 5 in St. Clair.
The Eagles hit the road again the following Friday, playing rounds at the Class 3 District 1 Tournament in Farmington.
Four Rivers Conference Tournament
The Eagles landed third at conference, tallying a 351 and bringing home two medals.
Carsen Dudley finished third with a 79 and received first-team honors.
Easton Purvis followed in seventh place with an 81 and was a second-team awardee.
At the Meramec Lakes Golf Course, Spencer Thomure swung a 95, Chase Black hit a 96 and Braylon Strauser fired a 98.
Class 3 District 1 Tournament
Sullivan ranked seventh out of seventeen teams at districts.
Dudley landed in 14th place with all-district honors. He punched his ticket to the state tournament with an 83.
Purvis scored a 90 and finished 26th, followed by Strauser at 34th place, Thomure (100) at 51st and Black (107) at 63rd.
