Eagles Get By Owensville In Semifinals

The Sullivan Eagles traveled to St. James for the district basketball tournament this week. They finished off their regular season against the Owensville Dutchmen in a game that ended in a tough overtime loss. Sullivan barely fell to Owensville, 53-52, in the last regular season game, but got their revenge on Wednesday. The Eagles surged past Owensville in the semifinals, 43-27.
Drake Gawer scored the most points with 11. He was followed by Gavin Dace who had nine. Sam Summers and Gabe Dace each made eight points each. Chris Glaser tallied five points, and Aiden Kirk finished with two.
