Eagles Baseball Gets Tested At Farmington Wood Bat Tourney

The Eagles (9-5) were put to the challenge at the Farmington Wood Bat Tournament, which took place from Apr. 12-13. They played their first two matches at North County High School and the final at Farmington’s Engler Park.

Fox

The Eagles attempted a late rally against Fox with six runs in the final three innings. But the Warriors outlasted them to win 10-6 in their first-ever matchup with Sullivan.

Sullivan’s lineup collected seven hits, 5 RBIs and two walks with 30 appearances at-bat.

North County

The Eagles raided North County’s field for an 8-3 win in the tournament’s second round.

Sullivan’s batting lineup grabbed eight hits, 6 RBIs and three walks with 25 appearances at-bat.

Farmington

Sullivan fell 9-1 to the host Black Knights in the final round and struggled at the plate. They could only manage four hits, three walks, a run and an RBI.
