Boys And Girls Wrestling Tri-Meet At Rolla After Snow Delay

Sullivan traveled to Rolla to make up a tri-meet that was delayed due to snow. The Lady Eagles defeated Hillcrest but fell to Rolla. The boys wrestling team defeated Hillcrest and Rolla on Thursday.

Girls

The girls wrestling team defeated Hillcrest, 6-0. Stats were unavailable at press time. The Lady Eagles finished their meet with a team loss from Rolla, 60-24.

Rolla won the first six matches unopposed.

Jade Studdard was unopposed for 130.

For 135, Sadie Altimus was pinned by Kylie Hawkins.

Dorie Richardson pinned Taylor Heimbaugh for 140.

For 145, Maria Schatzl was pinned by Serenity Tilford.

Katie Summers was pinned by Ryan Garthoeffner for 155.

Ruby Daily pinned Gabby Voshell for 170.

Rolla’s Felicity Taylor was unopposed for 190.

Reya Bristow pinned Hailey Lucas for 235.

Boys (Hillcrest)

The Eagles were victorious over both teams on Thursday. Sullivan started the day with a win over Hillcrest, 75-3.

Camden Henderson, Carter Blankenship and Oliver Borton were all unopposed.

For 126, Sam Hecht defeated Gavyn Walker by a 10-9 decision.

Eli Peregoy was unopposed for 132.

Dominic Ransom pinned Trey Pilkinton at 2:22 for 138.

Draysen Nolie, Adam Peregoy and Colton Brendel were unopposed.

For 165, Wieland Schmuke pinned Devon Ashley at forty-nine seconds.

Logan Freeman pinned Levi Morris at 2:37 for 175.

Kane Strehl was unopposed for 190.

Jacob Patton pinned Chris Brandenberg at 1:22 for 215.

The Eagles slid by Rolla later that day. Sullivan defeated the Bulldogs as a team by four points, 40-36.
