Willie Brock

On Wednesday, May 12, 2021, Willie James Brock of St. Clair, Missouri, a faithful Christian, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 63, at his home.

Willie was born on February 11, 1958 from the union of Bennie Lee and Willie Mae Brock in St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Samuel; and mother and father-in-law, Sherwood and Sarah Mattox.

He was a graduate from the St. Louis Public School system with honors; and was a Who’s Who in The Society of Distinguished American High School Students; in addition, he went on to pursue a career in aircraft mechanics at Parks College. Later in his career, he became an Electrician, he especially loved working on train engines. Willie was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses who shared his faith with anyone he met.

Willie is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Tamara; two daughters, Brittany Harris and husband, Tory, of Jacksonville, FL, and Briana Russell of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren: Christian, Porter, Alexa and one on the way; siblings: Lois (husband, Johnnie), Bennie, Jonathan, Marvin, Mark, Michael, Annetta (husband, James), Babbetta (husband, Biran), Yvonne, Gloria (husband, Gary), and Ken; a host of nieces and nephews; in addition to all the Christian brothers and sisters who shared his hope of a resurrection.
