Russell K. "Rusty" McGuiness, a cherished husband, devoted father, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2024, in St. Peters, MO, enveloped by the love of his family. Born on May 9, 1979, in St. Louis, MO, Rusty brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his 44 years of life.

Rusty grew up in the Stanton area, where he spent his childhood on a farm, learning the value of hard work and the beauty of nature as his father broke horses. He carried these values throughout his life and into his career, contributing his skills to the community in residential and commercial construction as a roofer. A true "man's man," he relished the simplicity of life, taking pleasure in outdoor pursuits, including hunting and fishing, which brought him great peace and happiness.

Automobiles, particularly his trusty 1979 squared-bodied Chevy truck and his beloved Cadillac, were among Rusty's treasured interests. They were more than just vehicles; they were companions on his many adventures, bearing the patina of a well-lived life—each mark a story, each dent a memory. Above all, Rusty's heart belonged to his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda McGuiness, and their daughter, Hue Grace McGuiness, who remain in St. Peters, MO. His legacy continues through his children, Max Marie McGuiness of Sullivan, Matthew McGuinness and Sonny McGuinness both of St. Louis, MO, Makinzy Kraml and her husband Dylan, Sonya Sneed, and Kaymen Sneed, all of St. Peters, MO; grandchildren, Cali McGuinnes, Harlin Johnson, Faeya and Maeve Kraml; Rusty also leaves behind other relatives, and countless friends whose lives were enriched by his love and companionship.

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Judy McGuinnes, and his brother, Jason McGuinnes.
