Roger Dale Rion

Roger Dale Rion, of Cuba, MO, was born on Sunday, August 29, 1954, in Bonne Terre, MO to Alvin Milton Rion and Rosemary Christine Eaton Rion.  He passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at his residence at the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 27 days.

Roger graduated Normandy High School in 1973.  He was an aircraft parts salesman for many years with AVMATS in Chesterfield, MO and Spirit of St. Louis Airport.  He accepted the Lord early in life as his personal Savior. He enjoyed reading, music and playing guitar.  He played in the band “Trapper”, a classic rock n roll band in St. Louis County.  Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Rosemary Rion and sister-in-law Patsy Rion.

Roger is survived by his brothers Michael Rion of Hemit, CA, Ronald (Mary) Rion of Wentzville, MO, Alvin (Dara) Rion of Owensville, MO, and Alan “Scott” Rion of Cuba, MO; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The family chose cremation as his final disposition.  There will be no service at this time.

All arrangements under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO.
