Lisa “Dapa” Williams, 62 of Cuba passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Cuba.

Lisa, daughter of Arthur Williams and Lurene (Spindler) was born September 16, 1958 in Sullivan.

As a child Lisa attended Faith Assembly of God church in Sullivan and always kept her faith into adulthood.

Lisa graduated from Sullivan Highschool in 1977.

She was the cook at the popular Du Kum Inn diner in Sullivan for over 40 plus years.

She enjoyed going to the river, camping, fishing, drinking and anything outdoors. You could even find her throwing darts. No matter what the activity it was always among family.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lurene Williams and one sister, Lynette Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Moreland and husband Jacob of St. James; three brothers, Terry Montague of Sullivan, Barry Williams and wife Christine of Sullivan and Mark Williams of Sullivan; two sisters, Nancy Williams of California and Sandra Pettet of Sullivan; three grandchildren, Piper, Taya and Harrison; three nieces and nephews that she claimed as her own, Earl Zweifel III and wife Jennifer of Robertsville, Danielle Casarotto of Cuba and Aimee Halbert and husband Scott of Cuba; many other nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

At Lisa’s request, no services will be held.

Memorial donations are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are preferred.
