Janice E. Law, 62, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Cuba Manor.

Janice was born on July 11, 1959 in St. Louis, MO, to Bruce A. and Alice R. (Wilson) Stager. She grew up and attended school in St. Louis and graduated from McCluer High School. Janice also went on to attend Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO. She met her future husband, David, while he was stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, and they were married on August 11, 1979 at Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church. The couple were blessed with three sons: David Jr., Robert and Geoffrey. While David was serving in the Air Force, the family lived in various places, including New Jersey and Germany.

Through the years, Janice volunteered in the public schools, she was employed by Convergys as a Telephone Operator, and eventually went to work at ATT. David and Janice moved to Sullivan in 2017. No matter where she was living, Janice was always active in the Presbyterian Church. She was a gifted soloist, she played the bells, sang in the choir and served as church deacon and elder. Janice also enjoyed camping, taking float trips, swimming, cross stitch and arts and crafts. Growing up, Janice’s father was a member of the Masonic Lodge; therefore, as a young girl, Janice was a member of Job’s Daughters, a Masonic affiliated youth organization for girls and young women. Later in life, she was a member of Eastern Star for several years.

Janice is survived by her husband, David Law, of Sullivan, MO; three sons: David Law, Jr. and wife Jessica of Washington, MO, Robert Law, and Geoffrey Law, both of Sullivan, MO; six grandchildren: Daylan and Logan Law, Alissa Edwards, Kymberlea, Jeremiah and Kaylie Law; niece and nephew, Kelsey and John Stager; other extended relatives and many friends.

Along with her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce A. Stager.

Graveside Services were held at 1:45 p.m., on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO, with Pastor Ron Koppelmann officiating.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m.  to 12 p.m.  on Monday, prior to the graveside service, at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
