Gail Clara Roller of Bourbon, MO departed this life in Town & Country, MO on Friday, January 12, 2024, having reached the age of seventy-one years, three months and two days. Gail was born in St. Louis, MO on October 10, 1952, daughter of Raymond Herman Hoops and Rose Marie Hoops nee Breeher. As a young woman she was united in marriage and blessed to have four children. Later in life, on July 7, 2000, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Richard Roller, Jr.

Gail is survived by her children, Michael Coppinger of Bourbon, MO, Kristina Coppinger of St. Clair, MO, Stacy Coppinger Henry of St. Clair, MO and Kyle Coppinger and wife, Corinne, of Beaufort, MO; by her brother, Ron Hoops and wife, Janice, of Oakville, MO; by her sisters, Connie Ford of Park Hills, MO, Sandy Walsh and husband, Tom, of Grainger, IN and Cindy Hoops Luna and husband, Kevin, of Oakville, MO; by her grandchildren, Damer, Ian, Ziva, Brett Jones and wife, Braden, Brooke, James, Calvin, Kyley, Grace and Ella; by her great-grandchildren, Vivian and Elijah Jones; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rose Hoops; and by her husband, Kenneth Roller, Jr.

Gail was a Christian and had currently been attending Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan, MO for the last five years and previously a member of The Ridge Church in Villa Ridge, MO for eighteen years, being very active in both churches. During her working career she was employed by United Van Lines in Fenton, MO as a Rates and Tariff Specialist, retiring after twenty plus years of service to the company. Gail loved her home and property, especially the creek that ran through it, and being on the river. She also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, watching birds and collecting rocks and seashells, which she crafted. Her favorite hobby was sending cards to her family and friends. She enjoyed going on family vacations, especially to Florida. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever.

A Memorial Visitation will take place from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM, on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at The Ridge Church, 51 Hwy M, Villa Ridge, MO. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family or NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders). The family was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
