Amy M. Bosch, 41, of Bourbon, MO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Mercy Hospital – Saint Louis.

Amy Marie Bosch was born December 19, 1980 to David Strauser & Kathy Thompson. She grew up and attended school in various places in Missouri, eventually moving back to Sullivan, graduating in the class of 1999. After graduation Amy lived in several different places in Missouri and was united in marriage to Jonathan Griffith and blessed with two children, Alaina and Logan. Sadly, they later divorced.

A few years later with some convincing, Amy met the love of her life and best friend, David Bosch. Together they were united in marriage on April 27, 2013 and blended their families and were blessed with a daughter of their own, Ava. They continued to raise their family in the Sullivan area while Amy was employed by various Applebees’ for several years, before working for Fidelity Communications for the past 8 years.

Amy and David enjoyed time traveling together and raising their family. She especially enjoyed spending time camping and floating on the river. She has so many fond memories of time spent with her friends whom she considered to be family. Amy was also a total hippie and loved all things tie-dye.

She loved music and was always singing. Amy was known for her contagious smile, laugh and her unbeatable sense of humor. She was a selfless, loving, honest and understanding mother and devoted wife. She was truly a ray of light in a world full of darkness. She will be so dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Amy is survived by her husband, David Bosch of Bourbon, MO; four children: Alaina Griffith and fiancé Connor Pritchett of Sullivan, MO, Logan Griffith, Layla Bosch and Ava Griffith all of Bourbon, MO; her father, David Strauser of Spring Bluff, MO her step-father, Glen Bertrand of Spring Bluff, MO; a brother, John Strauser and wife Lydia of Maryland Heights, MO; a sister, Heather Keefer and husband Patrick of Sikeston, MO; other relatives and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Thompson; her mother-in-law, Billie Thieme; and a nephew, Hunter Keefer.

Funeral Services for Amy will be 11 a.m., Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hodge-Enloe Cemetery in Cuba, MO.

Visitation will be 4 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. Because Amy loved all things tie-dye, the family request that everyone wears tie-dye to the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Amy Bosch Benefit Account at First State Community Bank, Spiritual Solutions or to the American Cancer Society.
