Crawford County R-I Seeking Substitute Teachers
The Crawford County R-I School District is seeking substitute teachers for the upcoming school year, offering flexible scheduling and daily pay of $120 or $135.
District officials said substitute teachers can choose which days they are available to work, making the positions an option for parents, college students, retirees and others seeking part-time employment.
No previous classroom experience is required. The district said training and other resources will be provided to help substitutes prepare for classroom assignments.
Applicants must obtain a Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education substitute teaching certificate. A certificate generally requires at least 36 college credit hours and completion of a fingerprint and background check.
Applicants who do not meet the college credit requirement may also qualify by completing DESE’s substitute teacher training program.
Additional information about substitute certification is available through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s website.
