Crawford County Fair Starts July 15
The 78th annual Crawford County Fair will be held July 15-19 at Hood Park in Cuba.
This year’s theme is “Once Upon A Star” and will be headlined by Pam Tillis on Friday, July 18 and Braxton Keith on Saturday, July 19.
Season passes are $38 online ($35 plus a $3 processing fee).
Admission is free on Tuesday, July 15, but armbands for carnival rides are $20.
Wednesday and Thursday ticket prices are $15.
Friday and Saturday ticket prices are $25.
Ticket prices cover carnival rides, concerts and all the events.
The parade kicks off on Tuesday, July 15 at 6 p.m. Carnival rides are open until 10 p.m. that night.
Wednesday’s lineup includes the queen talent show at 6 p.m. and the children’s pageant at 7 p.m. Amed Up Productions presents bull riding and barrel racing at 7 p.m.
The new fair queen will be crowned at 9 p.m.
Thursday’s lineup features more bull riding and barrel racing, along with the price and princess contest at 7 p.m. and the youth pageant at 8:30 p.m.
Friday’s entertainment is Xcaliber Pulling’s truck and tractor pull at 7 p.m. and Pam Tillis at 8:30 p.m. Tillis is a Grammy award-winning artist who has achieved six No. 1 singles and three platinum albums. She also won the Country Music Association’s female vocalist of the year in 1994.
Kricket Alley takes the beer garden stage directly following Tillis’ performance.
On Saturday, Lewis Diesel presents Diesel Dirt Drags at 7 p.m.
Braxton Keith takes the main stage at 8:30 p.m.
The Hunter Hathcoat Band takes the beer garden stage afterwards.
